Established in 2006, Freebridge Community Housing are the largest not-for-profit housing provider in West Norfolk. The organisation is registered with the Homes and Communities Agency, owning and managing around 7,000 homes and 17 sheltered schemes in West Norfolk. The organisation, which employs around 200 staff, invests an average of £8 million into the local economy each year, which has a significant impact across many local communities. Through its vision and mission, Freebridge has placed the community at the heart of what they do. This is demonstrated through a number of important and aspiring initiatives. Staff at all levels are encouraged to embody their values in their work. Chief Executive Tony Hall engages with employees on a daily basis and ensures there are formal opportunities for him to engage, such as through a welcome meeting he runs with each new starter. Tony was named Inspirational Leader of the Year at the National Housing Heroes awards.

Since 2014, Freebridge have run Providence Street community centre in King's Lynn, taking over when it was underused and in decline and turning it into a thriving, refurbished and buzzing resource. The centre provides office space for partners, such as the NHS, and provides a venue for local groups and activities.
