Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) are the single, independent UK compensation scheme for all regulated financial services. The organisation's mission is to provide a trusted compensation service for customers, which raises public confidence in the Financial Services Industry. The organisation has an agenda of consumer awareness and confidence, service excellence and increased resilience. To deliver this from a people perspective, the FSCS have a clear strategy for attracting, developing and engaging talented and capable people. In a bid to support employees, the scheme offers professional training in order to deepen and extend their expertise. The business sets aside time to engage with Stress Awareness Day in order to encourage staff to look after themselves and their lives, while breaking down individual stressors. To raise awareness, staff were offered free massages, and were given top tips on combating the effects of stress.
