Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) are the single, independent UK compensation scheme for all regulated financial services. The organisation's mission is to provide a trusted compensation service for customers, which raises public confidence in the Financial Services Industry. The organisation has an agenda of consumer awareness and confidence, service excellence and increased resilience. To deliver this from a people perspective, the FSCS have a clear strategy for attracting, developing and engaging talented and capable people. In a bid to support employees, the scheme offers professional training in order to deepen and extend their expertise. The FSCS are headed by Chief Executive Mark Neale, who is dedicated to building rapport and a positive working relationship at all levels of the organisation. Mark sits in the open plan office space with all the staff, and posts weekly blogs to engage with members of the team.
