Staff at FSP Consulting Services can hire paddle boards and scooters after the company moved to new offices at Thames Valley Park, in Reading, last year.
The building is one of the first re-developments in Britain that aims to score net-zero for carbon. It was chosen for its location and the on-site facilities, which promote the health and wellbeing of staff and the environment. Among the activities that have taken place are wreath-making, wellness walks, craft workshops, cake decorating and yoga. The office set-up includes collaboration hubs, where teams can get together, quiet spaces, relaxation areas and unlimited refreshments.
FSP is a leading digital transformation specialist that combines experience in business strategy, change and adoption to help public and private-sector organisations improve the way they work.
FSP's chief executive Simon Grosse says it is a business that "puts its people first and commits to being the best it can be". It is "recognised as a fantastic place to work that values and respects diversity and is a place where people thrive".
The business fosters open and transparent communication between its leaders and the rest of the company, so that everyone is kept informed of business plans, organisational changes, financial performance, new starters, charity initiatives, and so on.
This transparency runs through the organisation and leaders are approachable and informed, making them able to answer any questions staff have, or discuss concerns with them.

The organisation runs monthly wellness workshops on a range of topics with its retained psychologist, Katherine Bond. One session last year focused on Dealing with Change and Volatility. It offered the chance to share psychological and emotional responses to it, whether global or personal. Others covered stress and pressure, relationships, self-care, resilience and sleep.

An employee support fund was set up to help staff facing financial difficulties during the cost-of-living crisis. It will consider applications for grants and loans to help with utility bills, groceries, travel and other problems staff may be experiencing.
My team is fun to work with
The company's birthday was celebrated at a luxury hotel, where staff played games on the lawn and had a party in the evening. Its annual equality, diversity and inclusion event, Unity, took place at Searcys restaurant, at the top of The Gerkin. The day focused on storytelling and ended with an awards ceremony.
