Good Energy was founded in 1999 by Juliet Davenport with the aim to power a cleaner, greener future. At the time 2% of electricity came from renewables, and Juliet’s idea was to supply customers with 100% renewable power. Good Energy remained the only certified 100% renewable electricity supplier until 2015.

The organisation’s Customer Ops development pathway is designed to build skills from induction and beyond, helping specialists in the operations teams to learn their skills, master their craft, and step into new career options, with clear and consistent salary progression.

Employees are also offered various coaching opportunities where individuals can work with an external coach on building their confidence. The organisation also offers return to work coaching if an employee has had a length of time away from work such as maternity leave.
