PUTTING THE KETTLE on is one of Howard Jackson's most important jobs at educational finance software firm HCSS Education. Every six weeks Jackson, the chief executive and founder of Macclesfield-based company, opens his door to any of his 68 staff who fancy a “brew with the boss” and a chat. HCSS was taken over by the Access Group in January but Jackson will stay on for “some time” with his “fabulous team”.
