His own experience of the lack of support for people with family and friends dealing with mental health problems prompted Rich Andrews to set up Healios in 2013.

Rich combined his knowledge and experience of healthcare environments with a passion for wellbeing, science and technology to develop innovative services that empower people to live healthier lives.
Healios began with a small team in Southampton and used the concept of virtual working to attract talented staff, regardless of location. The company now employs more than 200 people, but retains its start-up spirit of innovation and atmosphere of collegiality.
