High Speed Training's mission is to deliver training that helps people to be engaged, effective and safe in their chosen career and it identified several opportunities to do just that during the pandemic. A Personal Protective Equipment training course was offered free of charge to learners, benefitting 9,000 health care workers. High Speed Training also provided a free Mental Health for Teachers course which was completed by 1,000 people.

Founded in 2008, the Ilkley-based company is one of the UK's leading e-learning providers with more than 160 certified training courses on subjects ranging from data protection and minute taking to Diabetes awareness and anti-money laundering and financial crime.

The private sector company's ethos is driven by four values: we are all learners too, we build our company together, we are a team beyond our four walls and we leave things better than we found them.

Reflecting this High Speed Training offers family friendly flexible working and personal development plans to build fulfilling careers based on hard work, not long hours and there are social events throughout the year.

A firm believer in giving something back to the local community, High Speed Training gives its 71 employees one paid day a year for volunteering. During the pandemic the firm supported a local organisation delivering resources to frontline workers and those self-isolating with a donation and staff time to train participants. It also donated money to food poverty charity FareShare giving enough to provide 56 families with a meal for a week.
