A remote-first policy at High Speed Training means that staff can work where they are happiest and most productive. The Leeds-based e-learning provider, which offers more than 160 certified courses on a wide range of subjects, gives employees the choice of working at home, in its Ilkley headquarters or in co-working spaces around the country. A £600 home office set-up budget is available for new starters.
The company was launched in 2008 and its approximately 91-strong team works with experts and customers to deliver training that empowers people to reach their career goals. Courses cover areas such as health and safety, education and food hygiene. The trainer has garnered many five-star reviews, thanks to its aim of providing excellent customer service and the best learner experience possible. Customers for whom it has developed courses include Waterstones and Deliveroo.
High Speed Training's company values are: "we are all learners, too"; "we build our company together"; "we are a team beyond our four walls"; and "we leave things better than we found them". It says people are at the heart of the business and it has set out to offer a great environment where staff have fun, success is celebrated and everyone is supported to have a rewarding career working with others who are passionate about what they do.
In 2018 the company introduced a profit-share scheme that aims to give everyone a stake in the business. It takes the form of a bonus paid in instalments over the following year.
