“Our talent are the cornerstone of Jellyfish Pictures. Without them we would not be who or where we are today. That is why understanding their needs and ensuring they have the best working environment is the most important thing” says Jellyfish Pictures Ltd, which started out as a two-man band back in 2001 and has since grown to count work on blockbusters such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi among its achievements.

Now one of the most respected visual effects and animation studios in the world, London-based Jellyfish – with three offices in the capital and one in Sheffield – employs more than 250 artists and is as dedicated as ever to creating stunning moving pictures.

The company offers an unrivalled service in areas covering visual effects, animation, visual development, and in creating its own original content. Projects under its belt include animated series such as Dennis and Gnasher: Unleashed, White Lines for Netflix, and Inside the Human Body, to name just a few. Awards garnered include Baftas, VES's (Visual Awards Society), and a string of Emmys.

“We have built a brilliant creative team, an expert production service and a pioneering technical pipeline” says Jellyfish, which was able to keep the studio open in the past year for those who wanted to come in or didn't have the correct set-up at home.

Employees were asked to complete a staff survey during lockdown, with suggestions implemented where feasible. There will be a staggered return to work, with an option for people to work remotely on a more permanent basis
