Scotland-based Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park covers over 720 square miles of countryside, and welcomes over 4 million visitors each year. From the stunning sea lochs and rugged coastline through to the majestic glens and breath-taking Loch & Ben Lomond, Scotland's first National Park truly is a magical place to work. They have a team of around 140 people (rising to around 180 during the summer) with an array of different skills, strengths, talents and experience. Together they work hard to ensure that the Park Authority is an effective organisation of passionate people who inspire communities, visitors and partners to protect this very special place. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is more than just an idyllic place to work. Their Balloch headquarters are within easy reach of both Glasgow and Stirling, with a train station nearby, a cycle to work scheme, car-sharing opportunities with other staff members and ample car parking onsite. The authority ensure employees have monthly one to one sessions with their managers. This time is used as a chance for employees to talk to their manager and to plan and make sure workload is manageable.
