The Manchester-based organisation operates in over 120 sites across the UK, balancing flexible spaces with secure needs, and ensuring the quality of the teaching is maintained at a consistently high level, wherever the location.

With around 3,500 colleagues and over 95,000 students and learners, LTE reflects the combined strengths and services of five leading educational organisations and is chaired by Philip Johnson, formerly of Deloitte UK.

While schools and places of further education had to remain shut during the Covid-19 crisis, many LTE employees volunteered to help out in their communities by delivering food and vital supplies to vulnerable and quarantined people.

Full risk assessments were in place for anyone who did need to come in, however, including an internal track-and-trace system. Even so, employees were encouraged to work from home wherever possible.
