Transparency is taken seriously at Made Tech, who are experts in the delivery of public sector technology. It is committed to building an open and diverse operation as it expands its operations this year.

The company handbook is open-source and can be viewed on GitHub (https://github.com/madetech/handbook). This provides an overview of why the firm exists, investment into staff welfare, team norms and details of its processes, policies and benefits, including unlimited holiday and learning and development time. You can even read about kitchen etiquette: please don't grind the coffee beans when meetings are taking place.

The company provides digital, data and technology services across the UK market. It works with public sector organisations to modernise technology and accelerate digital delivery so that citizens can benefit from better public services.

Founded in 2012, it grew by helping startups to build products quickly. Since 2016, it has been helping public sector organisations.

Made Tech is a medium-size business with more than team of more 170 people in London, Manchester, Bristol and Swansea and plans to double in size. Staff are encouraged to share their skills and there are regular code dojos, show and tells, reviews and other reflective practices.

The Made Tech Academy is a 12-week paid programme for those who want to start a career in software engineering or have been learning to code but have not had an opportunity to gain commercial experience working in the tech industry.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
