The NHS Business Services Authority aspire to be a great, inclusive place to work and have active staff networks to ensure that colleagues' views around wellbeing, inclusion and the environment are represented, something that all colleagues can help shape and take part in. Their networks run ‘WeCARE cafes’ on a variety of subjects, both work and non-work related. They also offer regular wellbeing sessions including Yoga and desk-based Pilates.

Their organisation runs communities for colleagues who identify as BAME, have a disability or are neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ and women. Each network delivers support via meetings and awareness sessions to colleagues. In the last nine months, the NHSBSA have placed a focus on women's safety following high-profile events, through advice, awareness and domestic abuse training, as well as developing a male allies programme. The NHSBSA is also a Stonewall top 100 organisation and Disability Confident Leader employer, providing equal opportunities for all.

An Arm’s Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), the NHSBSA are responsible for delivering national services which support the priorities of the NHS, Government and local health economies. By providing these services at scale and by digitising and utilising leading-edge technology to increase efficiency they deliver great taxpayer value and savings for the NHS which can then be reinvested in frontline care.

We are passionate about making the NHSBSA a great place to work and an employer of choice. For the NHSBSA, being an organisation where people can give and be their best matters and that means striving to be inclusive, valuing diversity, supporting wellbeing and having a relentless focus on developing our people as the key tenet of our overall business strategy. Just one part of that ambition is how we nurture our talent and support colleagues to achieve all that they want to achieve. Taken all together, we know this leads to better engagement, better decision making and greater innovation and is fundamental to the success of our organisation and to the delivery of improved patient outcomes, patient safety and taxpayer value, cementing our vision of being a catalyst for better health.
