Novosco were founded in 1994 by current Managing Director Patrick McAliskey. After he left the RAF, he met someone who agreed it would be better to make money for themselves. Patrick bought his partner out in 1998. Novosco have grown fast. Headquarters are still in Belfast, with more than 50 staff, but satellite offices have now opened in Dublin, Cork and Manchester.
