Novosco were founded in 1994 by current Managing Director Patrick McAliskey. After he left the RAF, he met someone who agreed it would be better to make money for themselves. Patrick bought his partner out in 1998. Novosco have grown fast. Headquarters are still in Belfast, with more than 50 staff, but satellite offices have now opened in Dublin, Cork and Manchester. The firm's philosophy is to go out of their way to hire the very best staff in the industry, then do it better, cheaper and quicker than the competition. Novosco offer staff mindfulness sessions to learn techniques to help them to switch off and relax for 45 minutes of the working day. It's a six-week week programme provided by Novosco in conjunction with Seventh Heaven. Acupressure massages are also on offer.
