The workforce at the London-based company is well motivated, and the best relative scores in our survey are for people's pride in their company (a positive score of 87% for the My Company questions overall). This is a place in which people feel they can make a difference (86%) and contribute to overall success and employees really love working here (both 87%). The company has five sites around the UK and business developers, the typical role, earn about £66,000 a year, with 25 days of holiday and other incentives such as a share option scheme and contributory pension. Savile Group is flexible about working patterns: 10 people work from home, and others have compressed days or work flexitime. People agree that there isn't too much pressure to concentrate or to perform well (both 84% scores), and have not suffered from work-related stress in the past 12 months (90% positive, the second highest result for this question). Employees are happy with the balance of their work and home lives (78%) and the organisation encourages a bit of fun with £300 a head spent on the Christmas, summer and end-of-year parties. Everyone has 35 hours of training a year, costing an average of £3,000 per head. People say this training is of great personal benefit to them (77%). There are monthly meetings to help keep staff in touch (including those on maternity leave), and employees feel their managers share important information with them (86%). Charity work is another unifying force, and 20 people used paid work time last year to run, walk and sing for good causes.
