As the leading pan-European insight-based managed medication service for complex medicines, Sciensus supports better outcomes for patients by ensuring greater adherence to treatment. At its heart are unrivalled behavioural insights and data research based on nearly 1m patient records.

With state-of-the-art technology, Sciensus has expertise that spans cold-chain logistics and nursing support, enabling patients to make the most of their medication. This unparalleled, collective capability generates multiple benefits for the NHS, pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare providers.

The company, founded in 1992 in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, is also the UK's leading full-service clinical provider of out-of-hospital healthcare wherever the patient is – at home, at work and in communities. There are now over 1,500 members of staff delivering complex clinical care and medicines to over 200,000 patients across the UK and Europe, across 49 different therapy areas.

Giving something back to the community is a huge part of life at Sciensus. This year the organisation designed 11 sensory gardens for local schools that were then created by volunteers, as well as painting and refreshing 10 staff rooms. 59 trees were planted in memory of Patients lost due to Covid and one planted locally in memory of their lost colleague.

Employees also opted to donate their Christmas company gift to foodbanks, together contributing £12,340 to the Trussell Trust - A Non Governmental Organisation and charity, working to end the need for food banks in the UK.
