Addressing the future of female talent within its organisation, Source Group International developed Women at SGI, a platform defining how the company plans to do its part to help women succeed in the recruitment industry as a whole.

Source Group International was started by award-winning duo Gavin Tew and Lawrence Hargreaves in London's Shoreditch, and has added operations in Amsterdam, Zug, in Switzerland, Los Angeles, New York and Houston.

The business focuses on tech and life sciences recruitment and has four brands: Source Technology, specialising in tech; Xplore Life Science, innovative life sciences and pharmaceuticals; Scale Search, personable executive search; and Picture Services, consultative approach to success.

The senior leadership team provides an umbrella ethos for the brands, and advice and support for the highly competitive workforce. A long-term incentive plan rewards strong performance.

The company is working to create a workforce that is climate positive. It has partnered with Ecologi and the Eden Reforestation Projects, which plants trees in countries such as Haiti, Mozambique and Indonesia to create steady employment for impoverished communities and stop environmental devastation.

It also donates monthly on behalf of its employees and customers. The scheme has gone down well with clients, assisting with retention, and has encouraged pride among staff.
