Puppy therapy and cocktail-making are among the wellbeing activities offered to staff at technology recruitment agency, Sphere. The agency, which has won industry awards for its services, partners with high-profile businesses such as TikTok, Amazon and Sky.

Founded by Ed Steer and Niall Phelan in 2012, the London-based company has expanded by building its business around its people and customers, with “home-grown” talent playing leading roles in Sphere's continued growth.

Its office hums with the buzz of people who are hard at work, doing something they love in an environment where people are valued, respected and included. Nurturing and developing staff, who in turn nurture and develop their customers, is core to Sphere’s approach to creating a fun and friendly environment in which people can grow and flourish, while achieving great results.

The “high-trust” culture includes flexible working, enhanced parental leave, annual strategy days and 'squads' who focus on inclusion and charity, as well as team and company events.

Sphere’s team expanded by 30 people last year and 23 staff were promoted. Transparency, a clear vision and an environment in which people are encouraged to do their best work have helped Sphere to create a business that puts people at its heart.

The company's ambition is to be the go-to digital recruitment consultancy in London, Berlin and New York. It aims to achieve this by giving people the opportunity to grow with the business, through best-in-class training and clear goals, as well as building lasting relationships with customers.
