Stockport Homes Group mission is to ‘Transform Lives’. Formed in 2005, it is a strongly values-based organisation, dedicated to meeting housing need, tackling social and financial exclusion and bringing investment into Stockport.

Stockport Home’s Active Listeners, trained in mental health first aid and suicide first aid, are the first point of contact for colleagues who need to someone to listen. The Group have continued to develop their skills and are now trained in domestic abuse and drug and alcohol abuse awareness, safeguarding and bereavement.

Every year Stockport Homes hosts ASPIRE days that are themed around fun and celebrating being a "world class organisation". The last ASPIRE day in the office was a games activity with VR activities, old school games, and basketball competitions. Its Colleague Festival consisted of presentations from colleagues, guest speakers from the council, and CEO.
My organisation encourages charitable activities
The Group has a partnership with OWLS, a women’s local support charity. Set up by Claire Osment and heavily supported by Stockport Home’s Nicola Be-Beaufort and Louise Evens. OWLS supports women experiencing or recovering from Domestic Abuse. The Group has provided £50,000 worth of grants and has applied for £350,000 from the National Lottery.?
