The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is a not-for-profit promoting and developing high standards of professional skill, capability and integrity in companies and individuals working in procurement and supply management. CIPS is the largest professional body in the world for procurement and supply management. Procurement and supply has a major impact on an organisation's profitability, efficiency and reputation, in terms of ethics and integrity. The organisation is the profession's voice, supporting individuals and organisations to achieve excellence and providing the global standard in procurement and supply. Team members work with governments, world organisations, industry and the third sector, to raise awareness of sustainable procurement practice and legislation, and drive out corruption and modern slavery in supply chains. The wellbeing of team members at CIPS is of high importance. And so wellbeing day's occur each month where staff can book treatments such as massages. They encourage all to use the organisation's mental health first aiders to discuss issues, while also offering a wellbeing helpline as part of the BUPA private healthcare scheme.
