The Goodwood Group of Companies are a 300-year-old sporting estate that shares their passion for horseracing, cricket, motorsport, golf, shooting and flying with other enthusiasts, corporate partners. Set in 12,000 acres of countryside in Sussex, the estate is home to the Festival of Speed, the Qatar Goodwood Festival, and has over 700 permanent and fixed-term employees. In addition, they recruit up to an additional 1,500 staff for their events. A few years ago they created a team called ‘One Goodwood' who bring together staff through activities such as community and charity, environment, education and wellbeing. Every year they hold a Christmas ‘Blow out' Party for the whole company. Each September they host a “Duke's Garden Party” for all staff and their families, which is an afternoon of free fun including a BBQ, drinks, jazz band, fairground rides and storytelling.
