Trinnovo Group is a fast-growing international recruitment company which incorporates three specialist recruitment brands: Trust in SODA (full life cycle digital), BioTalent (full life cycle life sciences) and Broadgate Search (business enablement and protection). The company has offices in London, Manchester, Dublin, Switzerland and LA and clients include global businesses and tech-enabled brands. It also has its own social enterprise, Ex-Military Careers, which provides support to those moving from the Forces into civilian careers.

Trinnovo Group puts the success of people and purpose before profit and, during the pandemic, helped equip thousands of disadvantaged young people with skills that will help keep them in work. Partnering without profit with vocational skills provider, Avado, Trinnovo recruited 18-22 year olds to the FastFutures workplace mentoring programme. The Trinnovo vision is to build diversity, create inclusion and encouraging workplace innovation. It is on a mission to be “the fastest, organically growing and most impactful recruitment business on the planet.”

The business was digitalised during the pandemic and moved to full-time working from home. A new loan scheme allowed employees to transform areas of their house into work-friendly spaces and the benefits package was overhauled to nurture work-life balance. Our home working policy will continue post-pandemic.

The new policy features subsidised private healthcare, a £50 per month allowance towards gym membership and 90-minute lunches for those who wish to exercise. Trinnovo’s people also have an unlimited holiday allowance and, on completing three years with the company, can take a six-week sabbatical. In a further demonstration of its people-first culture, all employees can become shareholders in Trinnovo, through a company share ownership scheme.

There was something for everyone in Trinnovo's pandemic wellbeing programme. Group exercise sessions, coffee clubs, quizzes and a live-streamed DJ set cultivated communication and collaboration across countries and continents. The particularly successful Trinnovo Tigers running club, which ‘meets' through WhatsApp, has been expanded to cover yoga, meditation and other activities.

Recruitment consultants were given access to industry-specific training via the Recruitment in Lockdown platform. Unconscious bias training, developed in conjunction with the National Autistic Society, was offered to all employees during the pandemic and Trinnovo partnered with LinkedIn to develop its digital inclusion workshop and deliver it to clients.

Employees come up with ideas for, organise, chair and attend webinars on environmental issues. The ‘Climate Risk – Regulations and Beyond' session in January 2021 explored the future impact of climate change on the financial sector. Other green initiatives include ‘meat-free Fridays', clothes swap shops and cycle to work schemes.
