Founded in 2017, UK Finance was created by combining the activities of the British Bankers Association, Council of Mortgage Lenders, Payments UK, UK Cards Association, Asset Based Finance Association and Financial Fraud UK.

The organisation is committed to providing a supportive working environment for all employees where difference is welcomed, diverse views, ideas and perspectives are sought and valued, and all colleagues have opportunities for growth and professional development.

All employees also have access to a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits and services to provide peace of mind and to help them to feel healthier and happier at work and at home. In order to support its family and wellbeing policies, UK Finance has recently introduced a new hybrid working model, which offers colleagues significant flexibility in managing their time between home and the office.

The organisation has also prioritised communication between its teams and leadership by implementing an active colleague forum that works closely with the leadership team in order to strengthen colleague participation, improve upward communication and provide a regular platform for all colleagues to exchange views and voice ideas with its senior leaders.

There is also an active social committee which supports charity initiatives and organises social and sporting events and other activities. Their ultimate goal is to help colleagues to get to know each other and create a sense of togetherness and well-being.
