Youth Sport Trust is a dynamic, forward-thinking charity that's dedicated to transforming young people's lives through the power of sport. With a large, remote Field Team spread across the UK, the Trust is committed to fostering a strong sense of connection and camaraderie among its employees. Team leaders regularly review working practices, ensuring their teams maintain effective communication and interaction. The Trust has recently welcomed four new members, strengthening its commitment to a remote, yet cohesive work environment.

The Trust is dedicated to promoting staff wellbeing. The use of online communication channels and non-work related group chats help build relationships and promote quick decision making. Team meetings are designed to be inclusive, with shared agendas and opportunities for different members to lead discussions. Youth Sports Trust believes in collective ownership of priorities, encouraging collaboration, sharing best practice, and fostering high levels of job satisfaction.

Moreover, the Trust offers a bespoke Leadership Development Programme and a Line Manager Development programme, both aimed at nurturing strong leaders and managers. These programmes are designed to respond to emerging societal issues and ensure employees understand the importance of high-performing teams, mental health and wellbeing, role modelling, effective delegation, and feedback.

Moreover, the Trust has shown commitment to employee wellbeing through a menopause policy, menopause awareness training for managers, and monthly menopause coffee and chat sessions. Such initiatives demonstrate the Trust's ongoing commitment to its employees, reinforcing a supportive, inclusive and caring working environment.
