Journey Further is a performance brand agency based in Leeds, Manchester, London, and New York City. Designed to deliver Clarity at Speed for the world’s leading brands and ambitious scale-ups, the agency connects clients directly with a senior team, working in real-time and with complete transparency to deliver previously unthinkable results.
The agency has grown from three people in January 2017 to a team of 180, and has seen the capabilities of the agency expand from a pure performance marketing agency to that of an integrated media agency.
To support its 180 employees, it has prioritised its wellbeing policies. The organisation has trained 17 employees as Mental Health First Aiders.
In May 2023, it held a month-long initiative to support Mental Health Awareness Month. Alongside written resources, materials, and reading recommendations submitted by employees, it also held talks for its employees by local therapy provider Chakra on positive mental wellbeing, yoga, and meditation to enhance wellbeing.
Managers are encouraged to ask about mental wellbeing in one-to-ones. By working on Wellness Action Plans with employees, they have freedom to take helpful action for individuals, whether it’s providing additional time off, reducing workload or altering schedule.
From an occupational health perspective, as well as investing in office equipment such as adjustable standing desks, the organisation also explore employees’ homeworking setups and fund equipment to improve that set up.

The organisation takes all employees away for two days and nights. It’s an opportunity to take part in unique experiences (like building shelters for baboons or riding the world’s fastest zip line) and to get to know each other. Other social events range from pop-up cocktail bars to barge trips through the canals of Manchester.
