Initially named AMC, the company started in the citrus business, as the company grew and expanded into vegetables and then commercialised grapes. With further development, AMC became a European retail footprint with scalable R&D farming. With the invention of new varieties of citrus, the group founded the company SNFL in 1992, and then later diversified its portfolio into Flowers and Ice Cream in 2000.

Reaching its 90th Anniversary, the AMFRESH Group was born. Over the next 10 years, AMFRESH Group acquired Avalon Produce and Tropical Fresh, fulfilling consumer experience of top fruit and tropical fruit, boosting the consumption of global flavours. More recently in 2023, AMFRESH Group achieved historic 100% acquisition of IFG, merging with BLOOM FRESH to unite genetic expertise in table grapes, cherries, citrus, and tropical fruits.
