Express Solicitors is a Personal Injury law firm representing clients nationwide. Its dedication to PI provides it with unique capabilities to manage a range of accidents and liability issues. Departments of Road Traffic Accidents, Employers’ Liability, and Occupiers’ and Public Liability contribute to 95% (£43.5 million) of its turnover.

In the past year, the firm has welcomed two Chambers recognised lawyers and 17 newly-qualified lawyers through its trainee programme. In 2023, 63 employees were promoted, and 87 fledging legal professionals joined its graduate scheme, demonstrating investment and growth at all levels.

It is the first claimant PI practice in the country with a pupillage programme. Its first cohort of pupils started in September 2023 and are due to be called to the Bar in September 2024.

Express Solicitors has invested in its continued growth with a 30% increase in headcount since January 2023. Additionally invested into a 40,000ft² head office, providing room for 1,000 staff. The firm’s expertise is frequently sought by legal and national media e.g. Legal Futures, PI Focus, Solicitors Journal and the BBC.

The Manchester-based firm is proud of its experienced and well-qualified lawyers – many developed through career development pathways. The company currently has 88 trainee solicitors, with opportunities for new managers and future leaders too.

The Winter Incentives competitions offer generous financial prizes to departments, encouraging positive team energy and a healthy rivalry between them. Throughout November and December, support staff can be nominated anonymously by their peers for weekly ‘Spot Prizes', and managers can make ‘Wild Card’ nominations for best performing or supportive team members.
