Homeless Link's vision is a country free from homelessness, where everyone has a place to call home and the support they need to keep it.
The role of the membership charity for organisations working with people who become homeless in England is to make services better and to campaign for policy change that will help to end homelessness.
Homeless Link was founded in 2001 and has more than 900 members across England. These range from large national charities and housing associations, to small local groups that support people experiencing homelessness.
It provides a wide range of services including membership, policy and advocacy for people experiencing homelessness, research, events, training, guidance, toolkits, consultancy, grants and support for our members.
The charity also produces In-Form, an online case-management system that is used by more than 18,000 staff across 300 organisations to record and report on their work and impact. Another of its ventures is StreetLink, the national service that enables people to take action when they see people sleeping on the street and connects them to the services that can help.
Homeless Link's team of almost 100 people, work either from home or in offices in central London. The charity receives grant funding from central, regional and local government, and donations from charitable trusts and foundations and the public, but more than half of its income is self-generated from sales of In-Form and membership services.
