As a marketing software organisation, Wunderkind scales a brand’s ability to create and grow customer relationships through email, text and websites, with permissioning and identity management at the heart of its platform. By expertly tailoring, automating and scaling brand-forward, one-to-one experiences, Wunderkind helps retailers acquire new customers at scale and keep them loyal for life.

The organisation believes that success is driven through open communication. It operates with a mixed model of empowered department leaders as well as key stakeholder announcements. Weekly one-on-one calls and meetings - which involve relationship building, professional support and two-way feedback - are deeply ingrained in its culture here. Wherever possible, communications are shared through its teams, one-to-ones, and succinct bulletins. Where updates necessitate it, the leadership team ensures that comms are planned, diarised, relevant, and unmissable.

Wunderkind also ensure transparency around all elements of performance - every employee in the business is able to see every individual metric, and every metric is derived from the organisation's ultimate OKRs.

It also hosts regular whole-business 'all-hands' presentations in which leadership and departmental heads communicate all that's 'going on', and demonstrate the progress aligned to the annual initiatives, OKRs, and goals.

The People Team also host their own 'extra' all-hands meetings to keep employees fully informed about 'all things people' including how their feedback is being used, what's new etc.
